We love to get email from listeners. That is to say, real email - the kind where you write something specifically to us - not just some forward.

In return, we try to answer all real email personally, even if it's just a short reply.

I am sick of forwards.

I am especially tired of all the forwards we receive where our show address is simply one of many on a long list of people the sender feels should see whatever it is they are forwarding.

You habitual forwarders: you're really spammers. The only difference is, instead of sending email for commercial reasons (hoping someone will buy your herbal penis enlargement powder made of moose paws) you are sending email because it amuses you to share.

Stop sharing.

Most people on forward lists didn't ask to be there!
Most people on forward lists don't need more 1.9 megabyte movies to download and bloat their inboxes!
Most people on forward lists have seen the crap you somehow feel compelled to forward!

And, if you're like me and use Outlook to retrieve your email, all the forwards show up wrapped up in all the previous emails that have created the chain of forwarding. I have actually opened up 10 or more other email messages to get to the damn animated .gif of a mouse eating cheese or whatever the hell was being sent to me.

As I said, we love to hear from listeners - who are actually writing us. But, if you're going to keep forwarding junk to people - please have the courtesy to put SPAM in the subject line and label what you're sending what it really is.
